Annual Statements

Tax statements for 2011 are being prepared and will be mailed out at the beginning of the year. If any your contact information has changed, please notify the office so that your information can be updated. If you do not receive your statement in a timely manner, please contact the church office.

Antioch College extends full-tuition scholarships

Antioch College in Yellow Spring, Ohio, is waiving the tuition for all its students, who enroll in the next three years. “We don’t want economics to be an impediment to a high-quality liberal arts education,” President Mark Roosevelt said. “By providing four year, full-tuition scholarships, we make attending Antioch College a realistic option for the best and brightest students, regardless of their family’s economic situation.” For additional inforamtion visit the school website. Health and Wellness Ministry

Start a healthier lifestyle in 2012, be a part of our "Just Move" classes. Classes will be held at the Berry St location on Thursdays from 6pm - 7pm and on Saturday at 9am.

Communion and Baptism Updates

Communion and Baptism for Feburary as follows:

February 5th - Communion will be held at the end of each service.
Baby dedications will be held at the Berry St location during the 10:45am service.

February 12th - Baptism service will be held at the Berry St location at 6pm.

Tier Leaders Meeting

There will be a Tier leaders meeting at the Berry St location on Tuesday, February 7th at 6:30pm.

Christian Education

There will be a teacher prayer breakfast for ministry leaders and teachers who teach in the Christian Education Ministry. The breakfast will be held 8:30am on Saturday, February 18th at our Berry St location. Contact Clara Williams for additional information.

Church Vacation - Church Cruise

The church will be going on a 5 day cruise on Carnival from July 30th to August 4th. We will be sailing out of Galveston. Sign up is available in the foyer after each service, if you have any additional questions, contact the church office. You can send your payment online, just select the church cruise from the description menu and indicate your cabin choice in the comments section.

My Community First CDC - A FSJ Outreach Ministry

My Community First is a 501c3 corporation created by Bishop Kenneth B. Spears to meet the needs of the community through faith-based programs that promote family, education and social responsibility. There are also volunteer opportunites available for high school or college students or civic groups. You can also follow this organization on Facebook. Tutoring

Need help with a particlar school subject? Tutoring sessions and student assessments are available during bible study at both the Watauga Road and Berry Street locations. For additional information about this service click here.

Meals on Wheels

Give your time and share your talents. The meals along with the personal interaction greatly assist those who are elderly and in need. Volunteer your time today. For more information click here.

You now have the option of making online donations with your credit or debit card.  Tithes, offerings, love offerings and registration fees for any ministry event can be made on the safe and secure order form.  Just fill the form out and submit it.  It’s that easy!  The system will automatically generate a printable receipt for your records. Make an online donation.

Education Opportunities

There are numerous corporations and organizations that have provided funding for scholarships and much of it is being returned because of a lack of participation. Generally no one is going to knock on our doors and ask if we can use a scholarship, therefore take the initiative and get involved with your children and investigate the numerous opportunities that are available. It is senseless for money to be returned or forfeited because we fail to apply for it. If you are a parent, college student or getting ready to become one, you are well aware of how helpful additional funding for tuition and books can be. Today there are numerous opportunites available that many of our parents and grandparents didn't have and education is a key component to success.
