     The First Saint John Couples Ministry is proud to announce that the Couples Conference will be held April 24th - 25th at the Sheraton Hotel in Arlington. Registration is currently open, you can register online or you can register in the foyer at either campus. Payment plans are available. Conference is open to couples who are married, engaged or dating.

About the guest speakers
The EdwardsPastor Lee A. Edwards accepted his calling in September of 1978. After finishing high school, he continued his education and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and Philosophy and a minor in Business, from Bishop College in Dallas, Texas. Currently, he is pursuing a Masters Degree in Theology at Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. For the past 14 years, Pastor Edwards has been the pastor of McKinney First Baptist Church.
First Lady, Minister Donna Norris Edwards has been a guest speaker and teacher for church conferences, seminars and retreats. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Bishop College, and a Masters of Science in Chemistry from North Carolina A&T University. She has experience in chemical research and teaching chemistry in colleges. Her current career is teaching physics and chemistry to high school students. She has also completed five years of biblical study from Bible Study Fellowship International.
The Edward's have been married for 25 years and they have two children.

 


About the comedienne
canteloupeTrina Jeffrie is a native of Dallas, Texas with an extended family of fans that crosses the country. Traveling full time as a character comic in the Christian/Gospel market, she has become somewhat of a household name as the character “Sister Cantalouple”, a cat eyeglasses wearing, loud colorful and loud speaking church going sister. This church busybody has been in every religious community you can imagine.
Trina is the creator of all of her original one woman acts and she has performed as a headliner, at wedding receptions and believe it or not at funerals.
She has performed on national music tours, as well as been awarded major roles in touring plays and motion pictures. Without limiting herself to only working with Gospel and Christian artist, Trina has worked with a plethora of secular artist before it was popular to do so in the Gospel arena.
Trina has recorded four nationally distributed Video/CD/DVD recordings to date with additional works being prepared for recording now.
