The Doris Sherman Humanitarian Award

 

Eligibility Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must be a member in good standing
Must be actively involved in one or more of the following ministries:

- Women
- SWAT
- Discipleship training
- Bible Talk Ministries

Must be actively involved in a volunteer service program in their community

Criteria

Each applicant must submit a 250 word essay entitled ‘Why I should receive this award.’
Each applicant must submit three letters of recommendation, which can be obtained from ministry leaders, volunteer service program, family and friends.

Other Information

Applications will be accepted from January 1st thru April 15th, no applications will be accepted after the deadline. The award will be presented in May during the women’s week of worship. Applications and any additional questions can be submitted to Minister Patsy Black.
